Galatians 6:16~"And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. "
As many as teach this doctrine of "free justification" then PEACE on THEM!
Those men who reject free justification then there is no peace on them but God's curse according to Galatians chapter one. This is not my personal opinion but straight from the pen of Paul.
Galatians 1:8,9~"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."
Better to hear this now then in that day!
Those men who preach free justification by grace alone....... then God's peace and mercy is upon them since they alone know that our peace depends upon Jesus' life of obedience and perfect faith as the MAN Christ Jesus.
"The Israel of God"~which are the TRUE children of God's promises in Christ! Abraham's natural children are NOT the children of God's promises per Romans 9, only the children of God promises in Christ are the TRUE Israel of God. A TRUE Jews is not one outwardly in the flesh, but one INWARDLY in the new man created after Jesus Christ.

Galatians 6:15~"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. "
In the faith/religion of Jesus Christ, nothing availeth anything~not even one's water baptism that so many contend for in our day. More folks will inherit eternal life that has never been baptized in water.All will inherit eternal life that have been made a new creation THROUGH Jesus Christ dying for them. Some of them may have never even heard of the name of Jesus Christ, yet if Christ died for them and God regenerating them in time, they will be among the righteous in that day.
This is the ONLY gospel that gets folks into heaven that have never heard of Jesus Christ. The ONLY gospel that gets babies into heaven, since there is no such doctrine as the age of accountability, since we ALL were accountable IN ADAM!
This is the ONLY gospel that gets the febbleminded folks into heaven, since such folks is the result of the fall and Adam's disobedient. God's pure mercy in giving eternal life freely through the gospel of Jesus Christ is our only hope of eternal life. Free mercy makes us a new creation IN Christ, not by any work of our flesh. Selah.

Galatians 6:14~"But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world."
"God forbid" ~Yet vain man pays no attention to Pauls' words, and seek to share the glory of man's salvation from sin and condemnation. They glory in two main ways: first, they truly believe man has a part in his salvation from sin and condemnation. Most all teach man has a free will with the ability/power to chose to love and follow God or the love of sin. They reject that man is totally depraved and is at enmity against God., etc. etc.
Secondly, that believe they have the power to saved man that is at enmity against God, by having them to say the sinner's prayer, etc. They reject John's teaching that man is not born of the will of the FLESH, or the will of man or the soul winner as they call them. They truly believe that man IS born of BOTH the will of the FLESH (man's decision to come) and the will of man, or, by preaching, or the soul winner. I have heard men boasting of the millions saved under their ministry.
While I agree men are saved "practically speaking" and converted unto the truth THROUGH preaching, yet only those who were FIRST born of God can hear, see and be converted to a more perfect understanding of the truth. Romans 1:16; 1st Corinthians 1:18-21, etc.
The true Israel of God only glories in the cross of Jesus Christ, were full payment for our sins were paid by the LIFE, DEATH and RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ. FULL payment was secured by Jesus' obedience and faith, period.
" If this is not one of your favorite verses, it should be. If it is, learn to love its every word. Paul defied Judaizers and glorying in circumcision by putting his whole religion in Christ. Paul used the strongest negative to deny association or compromise with the Judaizers’ glory. He has just explained and indicted the false teachers for false motives with circumcision . They gloried in getting Gentiles to follow them in the flesh by having cosmetic surgery.
Paul’s religion did not stoop to such ridiculous things, for his glory was in the cross of Christ. He dumbed down his message and chose one great theme – Christ crucified (I Cor 2:1-5). Save indicates he had nothing else to glory in at all – his glorying was entirely in Christ. Paul had more to glory about as a Jew than anyone (Phil 3:4-7; II Cor 11:18,30; 12:1)! But his great glory was in the death of Jesus Christ, which drove him (II Cor 5:13-16). He counted all things of this world, including O.T. religion, to be only dung (Phil 3:8-11). They mocked him and tried to kill him repeatedly for Christ (Acts 17:32; 20:23; 26:24). Men will glory in anything and everything but Jesus Christ, for He is foolishness to them.
Do you … glory in the religion of Christ? Is this the source and object of your fullest joy?
As you reflect on this question, compare your glorying to God’s definition (Jer 9:23-24).
How can you delight in the Lord, if the things of Christ’s religion bore you (Psalm 37:4)?
Do you have any comprehension of how great the gospel and religion of Jesus Christ are?
You know the only true and living God, and He came to earth 2000 years ago for you!
You know where Jesus Christ is right now with the most glorious names (I Tim 6:16)!
You know the cause of death, source of death, cure for death, and place of no more death!
You know there is an inheritance reserved for you in heaven that includes God Himself!
Do you … glory in the cross of Jesus Christ? Is His death and resurrection a great joy to you?
Do you look forward to the Lord’s Supper for remembering His death until He comes?
Does His death for you constrain you to think of living for Him in payment (II Cor 5:14)?
Are you delighted in the free gift of eternal life obtained by His death alone (Rom 5:19)?
Do you glory in such a gospel of free grace compared to the systems of works of men?
Do you delight remembering His physical, nonphysical, devilish, and spiritual torment?
The cross is not something you wear around your neck or have on the wall of your house.
The use of cross here is a metonym, the place of death being substituted for His death.
Do you … consider the world crucified to you? All that the world can offer is only vanity?
Do you despise and hate all that is in the world – lusts and pride (I Jn 2:15-17; Jas 4:4)?
Do you understand, accept, and delight in serving only one Master (Matt 6:24; Jas 4:8)?
Could you die for Jesus Christ? But better yet, can you live for Him against the world?
If you were to lose everything but still had Jesus Christ and His gospel, is it enough?
Do you … prove that you are crucified to the world? They despise and hate you for Christ?
All that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution (II Tim 3:12). Are you godly?
Do they recognize you are different by character, conduct, clothing, speech, and actions?
How many enemies do you have for the sake of Christ alone without any faults yourself?
A glorious Saviour died, under glorious circumstances, out of glorious love, after a glorious life of righteousness, after a glorious testimony before Pilate, with glorious mercy to sinners, for the glorious purpose of redeeming His elect, and rose gloriously from the dead to the right hand of God Almighty, where He reigns gloriously, reserving a glorious inheritance for you, and He is coming soon in glory to take you to heaven. What keeps you from glorying?
What will you glory in? Your looks, which are fading every day? Your accomplishments, which are nothing at all? Your wealth, which you cannot take with you? Your thoughts, which are deceitful delusions? Your friends, which cannot help you? Your strength, which is nothing and quickly disappearing? Your wisdom, which is folly in His sight and cannot save you? Your religious devotion, concerning which He will consign many to hell? Your knowledge, which is void of truth. Im sitting here as a 38 year old dude, wondering how in all heavens this show managed to claw itself so deep into my skin. It doesn’t feel logical. It’s just a show, it’s just a story right?
As a musician, I understand. I am also a songwriter and in this way I can pin point precisely why is it that every time I hear the songs or re-watch certain scenes I tear up. You see, the music they created for this show and the portrayal of the characters have true emotion. Emotion that reverberates through my brain and soul and body all the time. I think my friends would probably make fun of me because I am the burly, bearded type and the least they would expect is for me to be sobbing and reminiscing about the amazing story that unfolded in front of my eyes.
For me it’s the music that makes this different. The lyrics and the sheer amount of soul and emotion they poured into them.
I am in awe and I am happy. Props to everyone included in the making of this show. You made a burly dude get in touch with his emotions once more. Plus it was fantastic watching this with my wife.

I'll be 40 in a week, and all I've ever wanted is to meet someone, we hit it off, we date for a few years, we get married, maybe have a kid. You know, the type of love from Up! If not necessarily 'happily ever after' then at least 'until the kids leave home.' But that hasn't been in the cards.
I just beat the dating apps for the third time in the last 2 years - got to the end of the available profiles, with no matches and no dates - and I'm dejected and demoralized. It's starting to hit me that the boat of 'finding a happy relationship' has probably long since sailed. If I ever had that chance, I missed it, or wasn't good enough to hop on when it was passing in my 20s or 30s. If it were in the cards, it would have happened by now, right?
So I'm starting to wonder if, after 25 years of being in the game, and never making it longer than about 3 years, my time is better spent accepting that 'relationship, marriage, family, happiness' is not my fate, grieving for it, putting the desire aside, then.... something.
I just don't know where to find the motivation to keep my hopes up, or even why I should. Surely, if it were my fate, I'd have figured it out in 25 years of trying. It doesn't help that I picked up herpes from my ex girlfriend, who swears up and down that she doesn't have it, but still won't get tested AND I was wearing a condom at the time. As if I needed a bigger 'fuck you, you don't deserve love, loser' from the universe than turning 40 and being the dreaded never 'married/no kids, so he must be a fuckboy or a loser nobody wants' category. Message received.
You don't get to have everything in life. Maybe that's the lesson the universe is trying to teach me: a happy relationship, filled with joy and relationshippy stuff - getting to check off all the items on my 'boy, I'd love to do this with a partner' list - is not something I get to have, so I should put aside that desire, and find some other reason to do all the stuff I do. Maybe the purpose of the next few years should be grieving, like getting over the death of a loved one.
Idno. I look back at where I was when I turned 20 (single, in school), and where I was when I turned 30 (single, finally making strides in my career). And now I'm looking at another milestone birthday in the same circumstances. Only, this time, I'm older, less attractive than I was, and have more miles behind me than ahead of me. I'm starting to really wonder what the point of it all is, and why I've worked so hard to turn myself into someone I think would be worth dating, when it's starting to seem like a wasted effort.
Or, maybe it's time for a midlife crisis. 20-something and a sports car.

I've gotten much better at maintaining relationships (friends etc, not necessarily romantic), but by god, they still take an absolute metric tonne of effort.
That effort destabilises me, and sets me back sometimes, but I've always remained committed to this idea that I need to have relationships. I've always been told by therapists and others that strong relationships are the key to a happy life. And I guess that's probably true, long term at least, but I'm not sure how important that needs to be for me yet.
I guess what I'm struggling with is how to balance prioritising them versus prioritising being happy on my own.
I don't want to become a hermit but I don't want to pressure myself into being a social butterfly when that doesn't come naturally to me either.
I guess a complicating factor here is that in my current life situation (no romance, live alone, friends are very loosely connected, no family relationships to speak of) if I stopped putting effort in I could drift towards total reclusivity very easily.
That's where I'm at anyway. It would be very helpful to hear if other people have tried to balance that and what your experiences of it were. Thanks in advance to any who share.

Tldr; Mom (48) has been struggling with bulimia since 12, is in therapy but still throws up when she thinks she ate too much. Much better than when she was a teen. But i am still looking for ways how I can support her.
My mother grew up in a very strict, conservative home. Her father was a Tennis athlete and pushed his 2 daughters into sports. My mom was always deemed "fat and useless" by her father even though her weight was normal . Mother "was never good enough" and wasnt allowed to eat at night. So her mom (my grandmother) gave her food at night when her dad went to bed. She started binging and throwing up at the age of 12 till she was 23 and in university. At night she could eat half of the fridge and would throw it up again. She was hospitalized once after a collapse and went to a therapist. In university she got pregnant with me and stopped her binging and got up to a healthy weight. She still was constantly ridiculed by her father who asked her "how she can even have the courage to walk on the street with a fat ass like that.". This damaged her so much that her bulimia never really went away. During highschool she started modelling, her "icon" was Twiggy, the famous model during the 60's. She always kept her disordered eating to herself, and was so happy when she could shop jeans in the kids section.
She is 48 now and still struggles with it sometimes. I know how hard it is for her to eat cake on my birthdays. She wasnt able to enjoy the food during her wedding. During stressful times she hates her body and throws up when she thinks she "got fat again" and does extreme exercises. But she never talks about it. Its like a secret the family knows but just never mentions. She is doing therapy and worked as a RN before becoming a housewife.
I went to visit her today because it was my brothers 19th birthday. She made a cake and cried. She gives all the love to people in her family but gives nothing to herself. We talked a bit and she said she forgave her father but she wont forget it. I asked her if she throws up now, she said only when it gets really stressful.
My moms esophagus and stomach is damaged because of the vomiting so she has to get checkups sometimes.
I love my mom like nobody else and she is the strongest person I know because after all of those years she is still going strong. She is doing therapy but I wish she could heal. My mom is beautiful even though she doesnt believe it. She did more for me than anybody else could while being at war with her own body and mind. A fight that I will never understand and that goes unnoticed. My grandfather molded her into a disorder and failed her in every way possible.
Is there any way I can support my mom through this and can she be completely healed?
I dont have an eating disorder. But you all have my greatest empathy and respect for going through this and recovering.

You hate your job. You hate your home. You don’t have any family or friends that you feel you can connect to. Student loans, mortgages, bills overdue. You left your dreams to gather dust and crumble like some ancient artifacts in a museum’s stock room. When did it all go so wrong? Nothing has turned out the way you hoped it would when you were a kid. It’s all just been a series of compounding mistakes. Why did nobody tell you that, after a certain point life just seems to get worse and worse? It’s not that you want to die. No, that isn’t it at all. You want another throw of the dice. You want to start again, at a different place, in a different time. You want to go somewhere where you can begin anew, with a completely clean slate. That’s when you first hear about the Sterling Void: The Valley of Gods and Monsters.
A mysterious valley that was said to be home to powerful gods and terrifying monsters. Despite the warnings of the locals, you just cannot resist the allure of the unknown and decided to seek out the valley. After many days of arduous travel through rugged terrain, you finally find yourself at the entrance to the valley. There, you see a sign with a seemingly otherworldly language that makes you uneasy and a lectern with a blue scroll on top of it, a sense of dread washes over you and, just as you take a step forward, it hits you, literally, a note hits you in the face, it contains a set of petrifying rules, but your curiosity gets the better of you. You take a deep breath and step into the valley, fully unaware of the horrors that await you. As you walk further into the valley, the you begin to notice strange things. The colours of the plants and rocks seem to shift and change, and the sky above you is a deep shade of purple. You hear whispers in your ear, but when you turn around, no one’s there. Suddenly, you feel a tug at your feet and look down to see tendrils of mist wrapping around your ankles, pulling you down.
You tried to fight it, but it’s no use. You are dragged down into the mist, and when you finally emerge, you find yourself in a completely different world. The sky is a shade of silver, and the ground beneath you is made of shimmering white crystals. The air is thick with the scent of burning incense and the sense of unbelievable petrifying dread, and you can hear chanting in the distance. This is the Sterling Void, explorer and the you are now trapped there, but you wanted this and you are to blame. You knew that you had to follow the rules if they wanted to survive in this strange and dangerous place. And so, begins your journey through the Valley of Gods and Monsters, where you might face unimaginable horrors yet discover incredible secrets that may change your life forever.
Take a deep breath, adventurer, and savor the scents of burning incense and warm air. Listen closely to the wyverns chirping, inviting you to join them in eternal flight. But beware the staring imps, giants, ogres and griffins, ready to pounce at any moment. An insolent stare and you’ll be in their grasp, a glob of flesh. Remember the note you found, its warning ringing in your mind: 'Follow the rules or perish.' You shudder at the thought, but you're determined to make it through the Valley alive. You pull out the crumpled note as a reminder and steel yourself for the journey ahead. It reads the following -
Rule #1: Do not look at the gods or monsters, some of them are incomprehensible to humans in their "natural form" and, their mere presence can drive a person insane. Although it's not the case for all of them, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Rule #2: Make as little noise as possible. The gods and monsters can hear even the slightest sound and, if you're too obnoxious or noisy, you might be stripped of your soul.
Rule #3: Do not touch or disturb any objects that appear out of place, as they may be cursed or possessed by malevolent entities. These objects may include ancient artifacts, unusual stones, or unusual markings on the ground. If you encounter such objects, it is best to avoid them altogether and move on. Attempting to interact with them or take them may lead to disastrous consequences, such as being possessed by a vengeful spirit or cursed with a never-ending torment. Always exercise caution and respect for the supernatural forces that inhabit the Sterling Void. The objects in the valley can bring forth unspeakable horrors.
Rule #4: Only eat fruits and vegetables, as they are provided abundantly by the plants. Do not harm any animals unless they attack you first, as they are protected by divine grace. However, if the elementals or gods provide you with meat, you may eat it. It is important to follow the rules of supernatural hospitality and show gratitude for their generosity. Breaking this rule will result in severe consequences and you will forfeit the right to your soul and flesh, as it is a sign of disrespect towards the beings that have granted you protection and shelter. Remember, survival is possible without meat, but it is impossible without the protection of the elementals and gods.
Rule #5: Do not breathe in the mist. The mist in the valley can cause hallucinations and distort your perception of reality, making it dangerous to navigate. Cover your nose and mouth with a cloth if you must pass through it.
Rule #6: Do not touch the water unless it is orange in color. The water in the valley is cursed, and those who drink from it will suffer a fate worse than death. If you must drink, only drink from the "gilded water" that is orange in color and has regenerative properties.
Rule #7: Do not make eye contact with the statues. The statues in the valley are cursed, and those who look into their eyes will be trapped in a never-ending nightmare.
Rule #8: Do not trust your senses entirely. The valley can play tricks on your mind, and what you perceive may not always be real. Always verify your surroundings before making decisions.
Rule #9: Do not speak to anyone or anything that could possibly be a malevolent creature. The valley is home to creatures that can mimic human voices, and their intentions are often malevolent. Be cautious and discerning in your interactions .
Rule #10: Do not attempt to leave the valley without proper preparation. The gods and monsters that reside within the valley will make it difficult to leave.
Rule #11: Try to minimize use of light especially if you're out in the open. The creatures in the valley hate it and, and may hunt those who use it.
Rule #12: Do not disrupt the natural order of the valley. The curse that plagues the valley is delicate and easily disrupted. Avoid stepping on any cracks or disturbing the natural environment. Those who break the natural order will suffer dire consequences.
Rule #13: Do not open any doors unless you know where they lead. Some doors in the valley lead to places best left unexplored. If you do not know where a door leads, do not open it.
Rule #14: Do not climb any trees unless it is necessary. The trees in the valley are alive and may trap you if you climb them. Only climb if it is necessary for your survival.
Rule #15: Do not use any technology unless it is absolutely necessary. The valley is a place of ancient magic, and technology may anger the gods and monsters that reside within it. Use technology sparingly and only when it is necessary for your survival.
Rule #16: Do not pick any flowers unless they're orange, pink or red. Most flowers in the valley are cursed, and those who touch them will suffer a fate worse than death.
Rule #17: Do not enter any caves. The caves in the valley are home to creatures best left undiscovered.
Rule #18: Do not follow any "weird" sounds. The sounds in the valley are often a trap set by the creatures that inhabit it.
Rule #19: Should you spot an Inn with a sign or a placard reads "The Guardian's Grin" on the road-side, you’re in luck! You’ve found a traveller’s haven. Feel free to spend as much time as you want here and even stock up on supplies and, if you have need something, feel free to ask the staff for help. However, try not to be a nuisance and, don't overstay your welcome if you turn out to be a nuisance, the owner doesn't take kindly to those who abuse his hospitality. If you make a mess or, are a nuisance, don't stay for more than a day. And, in case you're wondering, none of the inhabitants of the inn are human no matter how human they look or, act.
Rule #20: Do not stay in one place for too long. This makes you an easier target for the creatures in the valley. Always be on the move, and do not linger in any one place for too long.
Rule #21: Do not attempt to communicate with the gods or monsters unless you have a concrete reason to or you really think you need to. They do not like pointless chatter, and attempting to communicate with them without any concrete reason so will only anger them.
Rule #22: Do not walk in predictable patterns. This can draw unwanted attention from the creatures in the valley. Vary your movements and be unpredictable.
Rule #23: Do not look at the sky, the sky looks like it’s made of silver alloys and, it is utterly incomprehensible to humans because of how “perfect” it is. And, can drive them insane, it is called the “sterling void” for a reason
Rule #24: If you see wooden signs or, milestones, do not read them or look at them for too long, they are memetic hazards.
Rule #25: If you hear screams of help, don't answer them. Don't move, you can't run or hide. Simply pray for salvation for heaven's divine grace. Only move when help comes, you'll know when help comes.
Rule #26: If you see an animal that has gone extinct in your universe, don't fret. It's neutral. It won't attack you unless you attack it.
Rule #27: If you see a loved one or, an object that you cherished but, lost, you are in a different plane of reality. The beings in this reality will try to convince you that you are home, and that everything is back to normal. They will try to keep you there, so be careful not to let your guard down. If you stay too long, you may forget who you really are and become trapped in this false reality forever. Keep in mind that even though the beings in this reality may look like your loved ones or your cherished objects, they are not the same entities and cannot be trusted. Stay alert and focused on finding a way back to your own reality. Look for blue-colored entrances and, exits for they are the only way out.
Rule #28: If you find scrolls, pick them up, they're going to be useful. Unless they're black in which case, they're best avoided as they're memetic hazards.
And just as you put the note back in your pocket, you remember the blue scroll, you take it out. It reads "The Nameless One is a fearsome creature that roams the deepest and darkest corners of the Valley of Gods and Monsters. Its origins are shrouded in mystery, and its true name is lost to the ages, but one thing is certain: it is a force to be reckoned with. Towering over its prey, the Nameless One is covered in an impenetrable layer of obsidian armor, and wields a massive hammer that can crush even the strongest of warriors. Its eyes glow with an otherworldly light, and its roar can shatter the very ground beneath your feet. Few have dared to face the Nameless One and lived to tell the tale, but those who have speak of a creature that is relentless, cunning, and utterly without mercy. If you ever find yourself face to face with the Nameless One, pray that you have the strength, the skill, and the luck to survive its wrath. If you see any of his minions, you will know. Stay away from them, if you harm them, you will anger the Nameless one. And don't fall asleep out in the open unless you want to become food for his minions
Remember, these rules are not to be taken lightly. They're more than just words on a piece of paper. They're like the Nameless One's eldritch serpentine minions, crawling underneath your skin, snaking through your blood and flesh, like a caterpillar playing host to thousands of wasp larvae. Although you may feel weakened, tired and disoriented, it's crucial to push through. Shake off the feeling and continue with unwavering determination. Your survival hinges on your ability to persevere. And, do keep in mind that sometimes you might have to violate these rules but, do not break any of these rules unless explicitly told to ignore a given rule. Only trust notes from me( You'll know if a note is from me) and, non-black scrolls. Do not trust any other source of information though you can try your luck with certain gods, fairies and elementals . But, not all rules necessarily have to be correct. And, do not forget the rules. Forgetting even one of the rules can lead to disastrous consequences.
As you’re about to roll the scroll, you notice a poem at the bottom that reads -

Remember the note you found, its warning ringing in your mind: 'Follow the rules or perish.' You shudder at the thought, but you're determined to make it through the Valley alive. You pull out the crumpled note as a reminder and steel yourself for the journey ahead. It reads the following -
Rule #1: Do not look at the gods or monsters, some of them are incomprehensible to humans in their "natural form" and, their mere presence can drive a person insane. Although it's not the case for all of them, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Rule #2: Make as little noise as possible. The gods and monsters can hear even the slightest sound and, if you're too obnoxious or noisy, you might be stripped of your soul.
Rule #3: Do not touch or disturb any objects that appear out of place, as they may be cursed or possessed by malevolent entities. These objects may include ancient artifacts, unusual stones, or unusual markings on the ground. If you encounter such objects, it is best to avoid them altogether and move on. Attempting to interact with them or take them may lead to disastrous consequences, such as being possessed by a vengeful spirit or cursed with a never-ending torment. Always exercise caution and respect for the supernatural forces that inhabit the Sterling Void. The objects in the valley can bring forth unspeakable horrors.
Rule #4: Only eat fruits and vegetables, as they are provided abundantly by the plants. Do not harm any animals unless they attack you first, as they are protected by divine grace. However, if the elementals or gods provide you with meat, you may eat it. It is important to follow the rules of supernatural hospitality and show gratitude for their generosity. Breaking this rule will result in severe consequences and you will forfeit the right to your soul and flesh, as it is a sign of disrespect towards the beings that have granted you protection and shelter. Remember, survival is possible without meat, but it is impossible without the protection of the elementals and gods.
Rule #5: Do not breathe in the mist. The mist in the valley can cause hallucinations and distort your perception of reality, making it dangerous to navigate. Cover your nose and mouth with a cloth if you must pass through it.
Rule #6: Do not touch the water unless it is orange in color. The water in the valley is cursed, and those who drink from it will suffer a fate worse than death. If you must drink, only drink from the "gilded water" that is orange in color and has regenerative properties.
Rule #7: Do not make eye contact with the statues. The statues in the valley are cursed, and those who look into their eyes will be trapped in a never-ending nightmare.
Rule #8: Do not trust your senses entirely. The valley can play tricks on your mind, and what you perceive may not always be real. Always verify your surroundings before making decisions.
Rule #9: Do not speak to anyone or anything that could possibly be a malevolent creature. The valley is home to creatures that can mimic human voices, and their intentions are often malevolent. Be cautious and discerning in your interactions .
Rule #10: Do not attempt to leave the valley without proper preparation. The gods and monsters that reside within the valley will make it difficult to leave.
Rule #11: Try to minimize use of light especially if you're out in the open. The creatures in the valley hate it and, and may hunt those who use it.
Rule #12: Do not disrupt the natural order of the valley. The curse that plagues the valley is delicate and easily disrupted. Avoid stepping on any cracks or disturbing the natural environment. Those who break the natural order will suffer dire consequences.
Rule #13: Do not open any doors unless you know where they lead. Some doors in the valley lead to places best left unexplored. If you do not know where a door leads, do not open it.
Rule #14: Do not climb any trees unless it is necessary. The trees in the valley are alive and may trap you if you climb them. Only climb if it is necessary for your survival.
Rule #15: Do not use any technology unless it is absolutely necessary. The valley is a place of ancient magic, and technology may anger the gods and monsters that reside within it. Use technology sparingly and only when it is necessary for your survival.
Rule #16: Do not pick any flowers unless they're orange, pink or red. Most flowers in the valley are cursed, and those who touch them will suffer a fate worse than death.
Rule #17: Do not enter any caves. The caves in the valley are home to creatures best left undiscovered.
Rule #18: Do not follow any "weird" sounds. The sounds in the valley are often a trap set by the creatures that inhabit it.
Rule #19: Should you spot an Inn with a sign or a placard reads "The Guardian's Grin" on the road-side, you’re in luck! You’ve found a traveller’s haven. Feel free to spend as much time as you want here and even stock up on supplies and, if you have need something, feel free to ask the staff for help. However, try not to be a nuisance and, don't overstay your welcome if you turn out to be a nuisance, the owner doesn't take kindly to those who abuse his hospitality. If you make a mess or, are a nuisance, don't stay for more than a day. And, in case you're wondering, none of the inhabitants of the inn are human no matter how human they look or, act.
Rule #20: Do not stay in one place for too long. This makes you an easier target for the creatures in the valley. Always be on the move, and do not linger in any one place for too long.
Rule #21: Do not attempt to communicate with the gods or monsters unless you have a concrete reason to or you really think you need to. They do not like pointless chatter, and attempting to communicate with them without any concrete reason so will only anger them.
Rule #22: Do not walk in predictable patterns. This can draw unwanted attention from the creatures in the valley. Vary your movements and be unpredictable.
Rule #23: Do not look at the sky, the sky looks like it’s made of silver alloys and, it is utterly incomprehensible to humans because of how “perfect” it is. And, can drive them insane, it is called the “sterling void” for a reason
Rule #24: If you see wooden signs or, milestones, do not read them or look at them for too long, they are memetic hazards.
Rule #25: If you hear screams of help, don't answer them. Don't move, you can't run or hide. Simply pray for salvation for heaven's divine grace. Only move when help comes, you'll know when help comes.
Rule #26: If you see an animal that has gone extinct in your universe, don't fret. It's neutral. It won't attack you unless you attack it.
Rule #27: If you see a loved one or, an object that you cherished but, lost, you are in a different plane of reality. The beings in this reality will try to convince you that you are home, and that everything is back to normal. They will try to keep you there, so be careful not to let your guard down. If you stay too long, you may forget who you really are and become trapped in this false reality forever. Keep in mind that even though the beings in this reality may look like your loved ones or your cherished objects, they are not the same entities and cannot be trusted. Stay alert and focused on finding a way back to your own reality. Look for blue-colored entrances and, exits for they are the only way out.
Rule #28: If you find scrolls, pick them up, they're going to be useful. Unless they're black in which case, they're best avoided as they're memetic hazards.
And just as you put the note back in your pocket, you remember the blue scroll, you take it out. It reads "The Nameless One is a fearsome creature that roams the deepest and darkest corners of the Valley of Gods and Monsters. Its origins are shrouded in mystery, and its true name is lost to the ages, but one thing is certain: it is a force to be reckoned with. Towering over its prey, the Nameless One is covered in an impenetrable layer of obsidian armor, and wields a massive hammer that can crush even the strongest of warriors. Its eyes glow with an otherworldly light, and its roar can shatter the very ground beneath your feet. Few have dared to face the Nameless One and lived to tell the tale, but those who have speak of a creature that is relentless, cunning, and utterly without mercy. If you ever find yourself face to face with the Nameless One, pray that you have the strength, the skill, and the luck to survive its wrath. If you see any of his minions, you will know. Stay away from them, if you harm them, you will anger the Nameless one. And don't fall asleep out in the open unless you want to become food for his minions
Remember, these rules are not to be taken lightly. They're more than just words on a piece of paper. They're like the Nameless One's eldritch serpentine minions, crawling underneath your skin, snaking through your blood and flesh, like a caterpillar playing host to thousands of wasp larvae. Although you may feel weakened, tired and disoriented, it's crucial to push through. Shake off the feeling and continue with unwavering determination. Your survival hinges on your ability to persevere. And, do keep in mind that sometimes you might have to violate these rules but, do not break any of these rules unless explicitly told to ignore a given rule. Only trust notes from me( You'll know if a note is from me) and, non-black scrolls. Do not trust any other source of information though you can try your luck with certain gods, fairies and elementals . But, not all rules necessarily have to be correct. And, do not forget the rules. Forgetting even one of the rules can lead to disastrous consequences.
As you’re about to roll the scroll, you notice a poem at the bottom that reads -
I am a set of rules, both true and false,
Some may lead you right, others may convulse.
Secrets I hold, mysteries I hide,
But beware, dear explorer, for I may misguide.
Beware of sneaky contradictions,
And secrets lost in the Void's evictions.

Hey so I (F29) work in a pub and over the last few weeks we have seen an increase in younger people 18-19 come into our venue, now this isn't strange to us as this happens a lot. But this group seem a bit strange, their group keeps growing and growing, and they just don't look 18+ but their ID'S say they are so we have bene serving them the ID'S look perfectly normal nothing out of the ordinary.
Last night one of our regulars came in with her daughter who is 16 (for this post I will call her faith). So faith came in as usual with her mum and bought a soft drink and sat down next to me (I was off shift) I was chatting to her mum and she was looking round the room and she was staring at the new group of 18+ year olds. Faith asked me to go into the passage for a chat with her so I did, while we was in the passage she informed me that the new group of people were actually in her year at school making them 16-17. With this information this prompted us to do another ID check on them all and again they all provided ID that put them over 18.
But when I got home this wasn't sitting right with me so I went on social media and found some of their accounts, now their DOB on Facebook and Instagram matches their ID, but their posts on these accounts don't match up with the age. For example one of them has their mum put on Facebook "happy 16th birthday to my beautiful son" with a picture of the guy in question and that was last year. And another put his prom pictures from 2022 on Instagram saying "we did it we finished high-school "
So I'm 100% sure they are not 18+ ...I've told my bar manager and he's also a little stumped. We don't know where to go from here because their ID says different, and they dont look fake . Can anyone help? What can we do?

My 18th birthday is coming up in a week and I dread it. My family has already funded to make a whole big celebration for it, inviting alot of people more than I think id need to. I wanted to keep the celebration simple and humble but they insist to do so much for me since this is only once in a lifetime cause it's a cultural tradition in my country for someone's 18th birthday to be a big deal to celebrate for. I know Im supposed to be happy about it but this has only felt overwhelming to me and ive only been crying thinking about it cause I dont feel done with my younger years all and I'm not ready to be 18 with all the expectations that age has. How do I not feel too bad about this?
I live in an overprotective, strict asian family that ruined my chances of learning to be independent and grasp responsibilities needed for adulthood at all, which made me so lost in life. Im accepting that I'll have responsbilities to deal with but the way they raised me is going to make me feel incapable of doing so. I never experienced any abuse or severe trauma from them, theyre still a healthy loving family to me but they still have their fair share of flaws that take a toll on me sometimes, the average parents having high pressuring expectations, constantly making the decisions for me and always meddling, underestimating and babying me at this age has made me build up walls around myself.
My household is family oriented which discourages me from fully expressing myself, and Im expected to spend my life prioritizing them, it only makes me uncertain that I can pursue the passions, goals and the changes I want for myself in the future. I hate how the whole family oriented ideal got to me because a part of me still wants to be dependent on them because of my fear of abandonment. Im not saying I no longer care for my family cause I still do regardless. I lost my teenage years to the pandemic, my mental health and my social anxiety which stunted my mental age and made me miss out on alot of opportunities which I regret. Seeing other 18 year olds be so independent, successful, and having a social life only makes me feel bad for myself. Im aware people progress at their own rate but I feel bad that I'm not doing something about myself right now. I just wished I was acting my age but at the same time I also wished I couldve made the most to heal my inner child without worrying about the abrupt impending adulthood burden. Anyways sorry if this is too long, I dont use reddit regularly but I had nowhere else to ask about this.

Well, let's just say we're feeling a little adventurous and a lot slimy today. Plus, we figured why should dwarves, elves, and halflings have all the fun? It's time for Snails to have their moment in the spotlight, or rather, in the slimelight. Snailon Escar-Goon The Real Slime Shady So what makes playing as a Snail so special? For starters, they move at a snail's pace (pun totally intended), so you'll gain -50% steps. But don't let their sluggish speed fool you - these slimy creatures come equipped with a tough shell that gives them +100% melee defense. And let's not forget about the random slime material you'll find in your inventory - it's both a blessing and a curse. But be warned, snails are notoriously picky when it comes to love interests.Each snail NPC has their own unique likes and dislikes, so you'll need to pay attention to what they enjoy in order to win their hearts. And don't worry, we've made it easy for you to keep track of this - just check out their profile in the game, which includes a handy list of their favorite things. Some like long walks in the garden, while others prefer a cozy night in, snuggled up with a good book. But that's not all - you can also give gifts to your snail sweetheart. Just like in real life, some snails might like flowers and others might prefer a tasty leaf. Just be careful not to accidentally give them a salt shaker, unless you're looking for a snail breakup. And if you're lucky enough to reach full affection level with your snail partner, they might even come to live with you on your farm. Not only will they keep you company while you tend to your crops, but they'll also provide you with some high-quality compost. Talk about a match made in gardening heaven!
