Now that I know what my two most fundamental problems are, I have to work hard to prevent them from harming others.
I have to remind myself that normal people like to gossip and some even may abuse the fact that I might take it seriously. People gossip, they do not mean anything by it. Personally, I don’t get the point in talking bad about others for years without ever doing anything about it or why some work so hard trying to control a person’s perception of another. However I must remain conscious of the fact that I should not take action on other people's gossip. While I’d like to help people where I can, most don’t want that. People just seem to love to complain, just as I do, usually not for long though.
Also I have to remind myself that not everyone is communicating verbally or written as precisely as I’d like to. Things get lost in nonverbal communication to me. Not everyone needs goals and expectations as clearly formulated as I do. Not everyone is as anxious or driven as I am to meet said expectations.
Not everyone is, in actuality, solution oriented.
Being hypersensitive is also something I have to learn to live with. In the past I just sedated myself, without even noticing why. Like, going to a bar and drinking a lot because I was stressed out by the fact that the baseline of noise was just too much, or it was too crowded.
I don’t really miss going to bars. It's smelly and crowded and loud, you don’t even understand your friends most of the time. Concerts are different. I can dance which apparently is a stim. Also no one expects you to talk to them during a performance.
Having a good memory paired with a lack of, I’d say, “timestamps” brings its own problems too. I have to consciously remove old garbage from years past lest it blurs my perception of the person momentarily in front of me. It’s hard to see growth in a person when you are still holding their past actions against them. I work so hard to get this right, how heartless not to allow others to do the same. Let everybody show up as the person he is today, absolutely everybody, no exceptions.
I have to learn to let go and concentrate my pedantry and creativity on my art and personal projects. Where it, in the best case might help people, in the worst case not harm anybody.
The longer I think about it, the clearer it gets. Being part of “your average workforce” is just not for me, not in the sector I work, not on the level I work.
Well, I chose a cardinal direction and let the terrain I’ll find decide which path to take.

PLEASE HELP!
I am so glad I found this group! I have reached a point of severe desperation and I don't know what to do. During COVID, my position and my authority as a senior employee was removed when our company went remote. This was done by my direct supervisor who was well aware of knowledge I possessed that could possibly cause legal problems for the company. Problems that would have become evident with my input during remote procedures. (Problems and issues that I had brought to the attention of senior management many times before but my input was ignored). I submitted a complaint to Human Resources regarding my supervisor's actions. They ignored me and instead blamed me for internal problems. They retaliated, demoting me and forcing me to drive to an empty building during the height of COVID. I filed a claim for discrimination and retaliation with the EEOC. The company responded to my claim; the response was, of course, completely false and slanderous. I submitted a rebuttal, including everything I knew about the egregious activities of the firm. This opened a HUGE investigation by various government entities. After a 3.5 year investigation, all employees were fired and the company has been closed.
Over the past 3.5. years, I have completed almost 1000 job applications. I cannot get employment in my field because I have been blacklisted. My family lost everything after I lost my job. We liquidated what was left to start life over again in another state. Still with no resolution, no job, no future, we are facing homelessness again.
I HAVE HEARD NOTHING from my agent over the course of the investigation. No protocol seems to have been followed in regards to interviews and mediations on my behalf. I have contacted my agent many, many times. All I get is, "the case is still under investigation". I am a patient person and I understand the extensive process required to resolve cases. But, it has been almost 4 years and the company is closed! What else is there to investigate?
My family is distraught. We cannot go through another devastating displacement. Please, if anyone can give me any insight, give me advice regarding what to do next., I would be deeply and eternally grateful.

When I was 13 I went to a summer camp when I was alone in a room with a guy who I was met at the camp. I was standing on his bed playing games or something and he suddenly takes of my pants. I have always fundamentally believed that putting people down, calling people names, and making people feel ashamed of themselves for actions that are not coming from a negative place is wrong.
The modern world is still dreadfully unkind to so-called 'slutty' women. Now, I'm not saying that there aren't so-called 'slutty' women out there who are indeed manipulative, deceptive, unfaithful, narcissistic -- even psychopathic. There have been studies done on the links between high sociosexuality in women and narcissism. I am not disputing this.
However, for the average woman who simply enjoys sex, why do we punish women and put women down for their sexual needs? Why do we label a woman a 'slut' or a 'whore' simply for having sexual desires?
Obviously, the contemporary liberal Western framing around sexuality is dreadfuly unhealthy. It has stripped sex of all its spiritual significance and turned something that is supposed to be a beautiful bonding experience into something that is meaningless and used vapidly.
However, when a woman genuinely likes a guy and finds him attractive, why is she then viewed as 'low value' or 'trashy' for being sexual with him early on? Why must we put women down for having sexual desires?
And what's even stranger is: why would a man want a woman who deliberates her sexuality as a calculated bargaining tool?
I'm not talking about women who are inexperienced, or insecure, or two people mutually agreeing to take their time before sleeping together. I'm talking about women who deliberately use their sexuality as a weapon, dating a guy for months on end without sex on purpose, knowing full well that he is into her, and using this as a way to manipulate him into a relationship. Women who essentially punish the 'good guys' who would wait and who are genuinely interested in the woman for a relationship. Women who know that they can withold sex for attention because society rewards these women and calls them angels, when they are anything but angelic.
To men, why would you want a woman who is playing games and using her sexuality as a bargaining chip? If a woman is happy to withold her sexuality from you to 'manipulate' you into a relationship, what makes you think she won't continue to do this after you are together? If this is how the tone is set at the start, don't you see how this shall continue long into the relationship?
Maybe the dichotomy should not be 'good girls' and 'sluts.' Maybe the true dichotomy is 'honest women' vs 'dishonest women.'
Would you rather be with a woman who calculates and bargains her sexuality, expects you to bring everything to the table, and essentially frustrates you by witholding her sexuality?
Or, do you want a woman who is honest, sexually open-minded, confident in herself and doesn't play games?
The strangest thing of all is that the first woman is somehow 'high quality' or 'high value', even when she is playing games and being deliberately manipulative, while the latter woman who is honest and openly sexual is 'low value' for being sexual. That being 'easy' somehow makes a woman less worthy of love and commitment.
Let me tell you what a so-called 'easy' woman is.
An 'easy' woman is a woman who doesn't lie to you.
An 'easy' woman is a woman who is secure in herself.
An 'easy' woman is a woman who doesn't play games.
An 'easy' woman is a woman who is confident in herself.
An 'easy' woman is a woman who isn't going to withold sex from you in a relationship or use it as a weapon over you.
An 'easy' woman is a woman who loves sex and isn't afraid of it, and is happy to share that with a man whom she is interested in or attracted to.
There are no 'easy' women. There are simply honest women and dishonest women. And it is far better -- and safer -- to marry the honest 'slut' over the dishonest 'good girl.'
Once again (to make this absolutely clear) I am not saying that all so-called slutty women are actually angels in disguise, or that all women who take their time before sleeping with someone new are being deliberately manipulative.
I am simply saying that for men, valuing honesty over dishonesty is going to save you a lot more time and headache than thinking about whether a woman is 'easy' vs 'non-easy.'
We shouldn't be putting women down for their sexual needs. We shouldn't be calling women 'sluts/whores/hoes/skanks' simply for being sexual. I'm not even talking about promiscuity or licentiousness here. I'm talking about women who simply have sexual needs and value a physical connection early on with the men whom they wish to form relationships with. Women who don't play games. Women who openly love sex and believe that a physical connection matters for a relationship to flourish.
To put a woman down for enjoying sex, for not wanting to play games, and to say she is not worthy of love because she is 'easy' is simply cruel and unfair to women.
We have got to stop punishing people and putting people down for having sexual needs. We must create a model of sex that is honest and compassionate, that treats sex as a bonding experience and a form of intimacy. When we do this, we cancel out 'good' from 'bad' and simply replace it with 'honest' and 'dishonest.'
Is that not much healthier?

I'm struggling to find a tubular motor to automate my roller blinds that meets a small list of requirements.

• 25mm inner tube (17mm motor)
• wired power supply

I simply cannot find anything that meets these two criteria.
Every 17mm motor is battery powered, and all of the hardwired ones are a 25mm motor for a 38mm tube.
At this point I don't care if it's wifi or zigbee, does anyone have any experience or links to suitable motors?

For the past 6 month or so, for so apparent reason, I have developed a pain on both pinky fingers, and the last week, on my thumbs. It started after some pretty intense weeks at work (computer work), but seemed to settle when that peak passed.
I got around it by putting bandaids around the sore bit (pain exclusively where it my fingers come into contact with my keyboard). I already have a soft keyboard, and try to not to hit the keys too harshly.
Well, the sore skin has returned to my pinkies, and my thumbs have recided to join the party too.
Has anyone else experienced this? I am asking here before I don't even know what this is called, and if it is an EDS thing. All my google searches resulted in finger pain as in joints or dislocations. I'm not asking for a diagnosis, merely wondering if anyone else experiences this, so I know where to start.
